Brighten Your Day – Freckles in Butterflies is a tuxedo kitty sitting in nature surrounded by beautiful butterflies. This black and white tux cat is the centerfold in an outdoor festival of yellow, orange, aqua, lavender, purple and red butterflies. Lemon, amethyst, violet, salmon, magenta and teal butterflies dance and create music that whispers through the field of pink of flowers. Freckles has mostly black fur, white paws and whiskers and little dab of white on his mouth. You may experience peace, serenity and healing as you look at my work.

Freckles in Butterflies is part of my Fanciful Animal Images series. Freckles has been my beloved animal companion for 18 years. At the animal shelter he came right over and insisted on going home. When I went to the shelter, Freckles came right over and brushed against me – and then he walked away. He did this several times. To me, that said this tiny tux kitty was both independent and loving. And that has turned out to be so true! Delicacy & Centering, Here & Now – Wings of Angels – patterns emerge, spinning and whirling, then pouring out into the great unknown, to evolve and create and reinvent themselves at each moment. Wings, with internal crystalline structures of lavender, pink, rose, Alice blue and aquamarine, whirl in planes of sky blue, magnolia, moss green and periwinkle. Globes of mint cream, powder blue and orchid float in thistle, teal, wisteria and honeydew. These wings of angels touch into the cosmos itself – as soft globes of asparagus, lime and Paris green merge into spheres of purple, eggplant and plum. Behind them, other orbs start in apricot, tea rose and salmon to merge into lemon chiffon, seashell and papaya whip. Crystal patterns with rose, ivory, old lace, cream and all delicate light colors of the rainbow, swirl and dance gracefully. All these motifs dance and whirl and twirl as they create new joyfulness as they play together.

Streetscape IV – Greenfield as Paris Mugs

Night lights reflect on the sidewalks and streets after a rain. Buildings have blue neon lights that spill out of the shop windows. Shimmering streaks and reflections are white, black, gray as they make the town look magical.

A viewer, who recently attended Susan’s “Night Light” series exhibition, was so taken by how she captured Main Street of his home town that he felt compelled to say, “Susan makes Greenfield look like Paris, France.” This image entitled Streetscape IV was one of the images included in that series. This beautiful fine art photograph will enhance any place your home or work place.

Bridge Street Café in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, US was a wonderful gathering spot for the whole town. By day it was full of people and a life line in the community.

By night, Bridge Street Café has a golden yellow glow emanating from the window – there are sparkles of light suggesting something special and magical happening in there. Joyfully Spilling into the Universe – Dance of the Spheres II – a matrix nurtures forming spheres and balls and strands, then allows them to pour out into the great unknown, to evolve and create and reinvent themselves at each moment. A deep hollow of rich midnight black has rivers of lime, which turn into gold to yellow, continuing along the rainbow. Orange, pink, fuchsia and magenta turn into amethyst, indigo, purple and violet. Green, spring bud, sunglow, saffron and maize ribbons spill into the heavens. Spheres of teal, jungle green and mint flow away and outward. Balls of Robin egg blue, Maya blue, sky blue and Alice blue float into the cosmos. All these colorful streamers, against the deep black of outer space, dance and whirl and twirl as they create new joyfulness as they play together.

Divine Helps is Always Available – Blue Angel – hints of an angel, a spirit, a matrix nurtures forming universes and then allows them to pour out into the great unknown, to evolve and create and reinvent themselves at each moment. The form of an angel is outlined in deep sky blue while the cherub’s inner shape is composed of yellow, cream and lemon chiffon, with rivulets of celeste, aqua and cyan, mixing with eddies of rose, magenta and bittersweet. Night lights reflect on the sidewalks and streets after a rain. Buildings have blue neon lights that spill out of the shop windows. Shimmering streaks and reflections are white, black, gray as they make the town look magical.

A viewer, who recently attended Susan’s “Night Light” series exhibition, was so taken by how she captured Main Street of his home town that he felt compelled to say, “Susan makes Greenfield look like Paris, France.” This image entitled Streetscape IV was one of the images included in that series. Demon Shadows – Time to wake up! – Apple, fern and forest green leaves create the 6-pointed star that is the mask of Demon Shadows. Amber, spring bud, bright lime, yellow and shamrock green weave among the foliage that creates the 6 points of the star. Dark maroon swirls from this center of the star into the great unknown. The middle of this mask has what appears to be a large cyan nose, which is also connected to the Robin egg blue eyes and mouth. Fields of jungle, forest and hunter green surround the outside of this mask. In other parts of the background, aqua, teal and turquoise spark an otherwise dark mysterious background.
